Au mois de février 1993, l'ATF (le Bureau fédéral des alcools, tabacs, armes à feu et explosifs), dépendant du ministère de la Justice des États-Unis sous la Présidence de Clinton, livre une première attaque contre la petite communauté de Waco, au Texas qui se procure illégalement tout un arsenal d'armes. Menés par leur leader David Koresh, Les Davidians, comme se surnomment les membres de la secte, se retranchent dans leur propriété durant un siège de 51 jours qui s'achève par un assaut meurtrier du FBI.

- Jay Marie Bailey23 septembre 2025Don't really remember this event as was only young when it happened and live in the UK so didn't really have that much air time. Thought it was a clever idea to write a series based on lived experiences of both sides of the event because the general public only hear the story the government wish to divulge to spin. Next on my watch list will be Waco: The Aftermath with some of the same cast and picks up from where this series finishes. Personal belief is it felt like 2 bulls clashing. Should it of happened - NO, could it of come to a peaceful resolution - YES, is it a tragedy - HELL YES, have we learnt from these events - HELL NO
