- zgluvs2420 juillet 20254.8/5 ⭐️ The Residence is an interesting series, it’s the kind of rare gems you’d find if you’ve scrolled far enough on Netflix 😂 I’m shocked it’s not advertised by Netflix enough, it’s any classic detective thriller series, there were comedy at best but it won’t distract you from the whole storyline and plot twist honestly, it took me a while to figure out who did it and when it was revealed I was half shocked and half unfazed (more like 75% shocked and 25% unfazed) I clicked on this series hoping to not be disappointed and I wasn’t, it was 8 episodes long and it was as if I thought there would be different cases per episode but NO and truly, it was better that way (focusing on only one case) it’s slow burn romance but in detective’s job lol, it’ll make you stay still and watch in it one sitting by the eagerness to find out who it is because I’d say every episode ends in a cliffhanger lol fun cast, cool theme, and I loved the soundtrack!
- Tiffie Starchild6 juillet 2025So disappointed to hear that Netflix just announced that it isn’t renewing this for a second season BUT!!! The good news is that season 1 really does stand on its own, so you can still enjoy this show without getting cheated out of the whole story (like with Kaos 🥲). The show is super clever and very much a who-done-it murder mystery like the game Clue. There’s SO many details to catch as this mystery unravels that I really want to go back and rewatch the entire thing now that I know the ending so that I can see if can pick up on all of the clues they dropped. I LOVE shows/movies that do that! Every actor is phenomenal, and this is so different from how I’m used to seeing Uzo portray her characters. Cordelia Cupp is quirky and straightforward and a genius, and the shows gives a million layers in a way that only Shonda Rimes productions can. Super enjoyable, maybe a little hard to follow if you’re not locked in, but this is definitely worth your attention.
