- Walter Jospeh Kovacs13 décembre 2025So far so good. Can't believe I'm having to wait until 2026 to watch the concluding episode - in future, I'm sticking to binge-watching. How I managed suspense between episode releases back in the day, I don't know.
- Spaceman Joe-5 jHang with me here. All right. I’m gonna start with a little PSA thing. Ima just say it right here- you guys are immature with your reviews and don’t understand what a review is. Half a star? Are you kidding? “I wasted ten years of my life”???? Here’s two reasons why you’re being an immature whiner: 1) if you liked ANY of the other seasons, there’s no way this is all bad. It fumbles a lot, but it doesn’t mess up every single element of the show even if it does some for sure. If you liked the other seasons, this one is in no way a 0/10. Reason 2) how is ten years of your life wasted? If you watched the show, and loved it while you were, that’s not wasted. There are bigger fish to fry than liking the last season less than the others. Jeez. You guys need to realize what a review is- analyzing the good and the bad, how you liked it, pros and cons. No matter how much you disliked this ending, it doesn’t have no pros. Don’t review something if you’re gonna be all “0/10 they messed up this thing.” Yeah. They messed some stuff up. But if you’re gonna review it, actually review it. There’s my PSA all you review-bombers need to hear. I’ll be the first to tell you it wasn’t great. But dude, don’t be like this about it. As for my review: This season was quite the mixed bag. As a lover of all for previous seasons, this one was definitely the worst, but not that it was all bad. I’d say it has some of the highest highs in the show, it just also has some of the lowest lows. Some of the choices they made were really lame, not taking risks, playing it safe. The dialogue was frankly terrible for a lot of the season and super cringy and generic (thanks ChatGPT.) there was weird focus, not on our bloated, un-killable main cast but on new additions, who were good, but stretched it a bit thin. I don’t think demogorgons were respected or understood, I liked them even up until season four but not this. One of my biggest complaints though, would be the way there’s no risk because nothing can happen to our main characters. I won’t spoil, but just the way that certain scenes are written, it just slashes the stakes. But I’m not gonna lie, there was so much that brought me back to how I felt the other seasons. The characters are the heart of this show, and there were some really beautiful character moments that hit just as hard as past seasons. Jamie Campbell Bower as Henry was a standout- insanely good performance (especially when in human form, genuinely terrifying.) there were some great twists, and parts with good suspense. There was a lot of expansion to the lore, some I liked and some I didn’t. Overall, it was just an experience. Was it the perfect ending to the series? No. But it was an ending, and once it was finished I couldn’t not smile at the incredible journey we’ve all finished. Stranger Things is a show of all time. ❤️

The show drowns itself in an onslaught of supporting characters nobody asked for, stealing precious time from the emotional core—Mike, Hopper, and even Eleven, who feels weirdly sidelined in what should’ve been her victory lap. The pacing is downright baffling: bloated, meandering, and occasionally nap-inducing. It’s Last Season-itis in full bloom, joining the sad hall of fame alongside Game of Thrones, Lost, and The Walking Dead. Big swings, bigger misses, less meaning. Worst of all, the finale feels like a writers’ room civil war—half of them desperate for an explosive, CGI-soaked climax, the other half awkwardly aiming for a warm, sentimental goodbye straight out of Friends. The result? Neither approach wins. It’s busy, crowded, and emotionally diluted. The stakes are non existent and none of the characters really feel like they are in any real danger. I didn’t hate the final season—but that might be worse. It ended with a shrug. An “okay, that’s over now” feeling. And for massive fandom juggernauts like this, apathy isn’t just disappointing—it’s terminal.
