Nina Nesterova, a senior investigator for particularly important cases, who has more than one high-profile case on her account, offers provincial investigator Nikita Komarov to go to work in Moscow and join the investigation of a fire in a nightclub. Nina believes that a large businessman, a member of one of the political parties Boris Bobrov is involved in the case. To confirm this assumption and find evidence, she instructs Nikita.
