It looked a bit odd, moved a bit odd, but somehow it worked. The whole “future 2040” setting with the Phantom fighting crime gave it a cool atmosphere, even if the show was clearly made on a tight budget. Watching it now, it’s still that same mix of weird, stylish and surprisingly serious. Not perfect, but definitely memorable, the kind of show you don’t forget once you’ve seen it.
