Her comedy series like Urusei Yatsura and Ranma were an absolute blast, but Inuyasha, more serious fantasy series were an absolute miss for me. Bore me to death. Now Rumiko's new title Mao seems to lean toward serious fantasy or supernatural if you will. It wasn't a comedy and didn't even intrigued me a lot. I'll give it a few more episodes, but I kind of have a feeling that I will soon drop it.
