Elle ne croit pas une seconde à son baratin, persuadée qu'il est derrière la création de ces nouveaux Éclats obscurs. Alors qu'elle le surveille, espérant ainsi le démasquer, Shenwu est touché par un Éclat chewing-gum qui le colle à tout ce qui entre en contact avec lui - à commencer par Baihu ! Lan Jun doit protéger la ville d'une meute d'enfants turbulents, et prouver à sa mère qu'elle est assez grande pour être Jade. Hyper émotive, elle se met à réagir au quart de tour, et doit contrôler ses émotions pour être une Jade efficace. De son côté, La Tigresse remarque que Xinyan est attiré par les Éclats obscurs... L'attaque des géantsL’école organise un concours de sciences : Lan Jun espère prouver à son père qu’elle aussi peut réussir un devoir scientifique. De leur côté, Adrien, touché par un Éclat de génie, et Kai reconstruisent l’Armure d’Onyx trouvée dans une poubelle. Le jour de la présentation, l’armure portée par Kai s’empare de l’Éclat et se rebelle contre son pilote... Mais lorsque Jade tente d’absorber l’Éclat, le prisme la divise en 3 personnes aux caractères et aspirations bien différentes : Lan Jun, Jade Verte, et Jade Rouge ! Shenwu s'en réjouit d'avance. Lorsqu'un Éclat transforme tous les habitants de Ban Tang en clones du Spectre Rouge, Jade s'en occupe façon \" Jade 2.0 \", dans la plus pure tradition ! Il demande à Lan Jun et à Alisha de l'aider à le retrouver malgré leur réticence : il a l'air bizarre mais Théo est sûr qu'il a bon fond. Lan Jun abandonne les recherches et se transforme en Jade quand un Éclat passe toute la ville en mode infrarouge. Ce que nos amis ignorent c'est que Xinyan a déjà retrouvé le chien et, qu'il compte également s'emparer de l'Éclat. Pourquoi ?
