The series interestingly raises the debate about the nature of evil and develops it with a serious and mature tone, prioritizing introspection over immediate shock value. The performances are one of its greatest strengths and carry much of the narrative weight, lending credibility and emotional depth to the story. The staging is understated yet effective, reinforcing the constant sense of unease the series seeks to convey. Although the pacing is slow, it is generally well-measured and allows the tension to build gradually. While some subplots could have been better developed and not all episodes maintain the same level of intensity, the series as a whole works and holds the viewer's interest until the end. In short: a well-constructed series with personality and good acting, which more than delivers within the genre without being outstanding. My rating: 7/10
