- Jim Fox30 avril 2025This is a 5-star series, but not a 5-star BL. In fact, it's hardly a BL at all. A lot of controversy online was how the creators of this series straight-washed the original Webtoon with the inclusion of the second straight couple, and indeed, the straight couple was the only one that got cute scenes. Don't expect a gay romance here, but rather constant frustration to the last episode. However, that being said, this is an excellent real-life look at growing up gay. Falling in love with your best, straight friend is a very real experience. Unable to confess your love becuase your love is for someone of the same gender, is a very real experience. Living in a society that doesn't openly accept you and causes you to go into hiding, is a real experience. For all of those reasons, this is an excellent series and both couples are indeed enjoyable. It was hard to rate this series because of this, but it's definitely rewatchable and enjoyable - but eventually leaves you wanting at the end. But Hee-su is abolutely adorable, which would cause me to rewatch this series, thus the instant 4 stars.
