Nurse Galka considers herself a happy person: she works in a hospital, dreams of entering a medical school and is going to marry her boyfriend Sergey. But one day she learns the incredible secret of her birth, and it turns her whole life upside down. It turns out that her mother, saleswoman Tamara, and alcoholic father Vitya are not her relatives.
