The series is a banger from the first episode to the last. Here and there, the familiar "3D plague" creeps in; while noticeable, it isn't particularly distracting. Regarding the story, a question arises for me: since all the trash comes from the surface world and is dumped down below, where do the resources for all that waste actually come from? Realism isn't usually a factor I evaluate unless the anime is specifically designed to be realistic, but faced with such an obvious plot hole, I have to ask the question. We are talking about such absurd quantities of material that—or so it appears—are being produced out of thin air. However, since this is a minor point and doesn't detract from the anime itself, I wouldn't penalize it too harshly. That said, it does fall just short of a 5-star rating in this regard.
- larping24 juillet 2026A nice wake up call for the anime genre. Most animes that come out with something truly new and innovative sadly usually lack in production quality. Gachiakuta does not, the animation is stunning, the fights are sick, the jokes actually hit and makes me giggle. It feels very nice to watch some new original anime show that actually feels like it got properly cared for when it was in production.
