One of those shows that has no right to be as good as it is considering the source material. All you can do is see where it lands and enjoy the ride.
The aesthetic and vibe from the games really does pull its weight though, and gives it a punk rock fun style that spices the setting just enough to carry it. That and Ella Purnell's giant eyes and you got yourself a show. Some decent storytelling with the rest and unexpectedly decent performances and somehow it all works and feels cohesive.
