Robert W. Miller has been a prolific composer in film, television, and the concert hall for over 33 years. A graduate of the Mannes College of Music in New York City, Robert was encouraged to enter the world of film scoring by his mentors Aaron Copland, William Schuman, and Edgar David Grana.

In 2017, Robert collaborated with choreographer Troy Schumacher on a new ballet entitled “The Wind Still Brings” for the New York City Ballet.
Robert also has a long-standing creative relationship with Neil deGrasse Tyson and The American Museum of Natural History’s Hayden Planetarium, having scored seven Space Shows since 2008, including the planetarium’s current show, “Encounters in the Milky Way,” which premiered this summer.
Among other new film projects, Robert just completed scoring ESPN’s biggest series to date, entitled “The Yankees Win,” directed by John Hock and produced by JJ Abrams.
