Yes, the ending is frustratingly opaque and refuses to explain itself, but that’s also the point: this isn’t a puzzle to be solved so much as a descent into collective madness. It’s a film about obsession, perception, and the danger of needing closure in a place that offers none—which is either deeply profound or deeply annoying, depending on your tolerance for cinematic gaslighting.
