Un an a passé… Wayne et Garth ont quitté leurs parents. Ils se sont installés dans un studio-garçonnière où ils présentent chaque soir l'émission rock la plus déjantée des États-Unis. Mais deux évènements vont les transformer. Dans un songe, un indien apparaît à Wayne et l'entraîne dans le désert à la rencontre de Jim Morrison. Là, le chanteur des Doors lui conseille d'organiser un méga-concert rock dans sa ville, “Waynestock”. Garth, lui, tombe dans les bras d'une superbe créature, Honey Hornée.

- ርልዪረ27 septembre 2025Waynes World was one of my favourite franchises as a teenager. Loved them both, I even still quote them semi regularly without realising. But the scenes and jokes all sort of blend into one film in my head after so many years not having watched them. I got a cheap copy of Wayne's World 2 on Blu-ray and was super excited to watch it but after doing so it wasn't as funny as I remember. Its STILL funny, and I liked it but maybe I have matured because a lot of the jokes seemed silly and cheap to me now. I use to love the sword fight scene with the bad lip syncing but now I feel ho-hum towards it. Then there were other times I cracked up and some of the site gags are really smart - like the trip to the UK montage. Its a very innocent film in a way, the jokes aren't really that sexual or offensive they are usually poking fun at themselves or making the most out of situations they find themselves in and I did like that - most comedy films these days are mean to characters or look for the shock factor. Its hard to have a favourite scene but one of my favourite jokes is the scene in which Del Preston tells the story of having to beat somebody to death with their own shoes... That still made me crack up! We also get a Shrek impression before Shrek was even a thing when in one fleeting scene Wayne pretends to be a leprechaun to scare Garth. It was sort of a stupid scene but Shrek came straight to mind so made me smile. Final Verdict: Its an innocent, funny film but does feel silly and cheap at times. The characters are still lovable but not everything got a laugh from me anymore. If you haven't seen it before, I highly recommend it because it is a good fun time capsule of the early 90's if nothing else, but if you have seen it before and plan to watch it again then just be prepared for a slight let down. Its still funny, but not THAT funny.

- wf62530 juin 2025I little worst than the first one but still really funny and amazing watch. I just don’t go back to it that much so I gave it a lower rating. I also don’t think the story is as good as the first one.
