The casting was perfect, the writing was perfect and the cinematography was quite nice too. Also this film ends an era for Eastwood being his last Western. All the accolades and awards are completely justified for this great story.

Après avoir été un impitoyable tueur, toujours entre deux verres, Bill Munny a raccroché ses colts pour l'amour d'une femme aujourd’hui disparue. Il élève péniblement des cochons dans un enclos boueux, avec pour seuls compagnons ses deux jeunes enfants.
