    A timeless classic. No matter how many times I watch True Lies, it never gets old. Perfect mix of action, comedy, and suspense, with unforgettable performances by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis. Easily one of my all-time favorites.

    Having seen it loads of times, it’s just one of those films you can drop into at any point and still enjoy. It never really drags, it just kind of rolls along on pure energy. It’s big, a bit ridiculous, and fully aware of it without ever making a thing of it. The jokes still land in unexpected places, and the action has that slightly messy, practical feel that gives it more personality than polish. Some bits feel a bit dated now, sure, but it doesn’t really matter. It’s more about the vibe and confidence, and that still holds up every time you go back to it.

    A smart and hilarious comedy masquerading as an action film. Though, it's a great action film, too, to be fair.

    Funnier and more exciting than I remembered it being. Arnold, Tom Arnold and Jamie Lee Curtis have great chemistry and a lot of charm. The villains are caricatures and not remotely realistic but I guess that’s the satirical side of this tongue in cheek spy/action romp.

    One of Arnold's and James Cameron's best movies. All out action and some memorable scenes that stay in your mind long after you've seen them (like the horse and bike chase through a hotel!). Great cast, nice dialogues and plenty of funny moments. The only things I would change are a couple of very adult conversations and situations that are definitely not suited for a family movie. It's weird that no one told Cameron to remove them, as the movie would be exactly the same without them. But all in all this one is a sure winner.
