- Jimmy James20 mars 2026I'm not sure why so many people hate on this movie. I first saw it in theaters and then basically forgot about the film for years, not because of quality, just got lost in the shuffle. A lingering memory of a cool slow-motion fight with sparks flying would come and go over the next 25 years so I finally picked up the blu-ray for cheap the other day and just finished watching it. Completely forget how hard the nostalgic soundtrack hits at times and completely forgot it was one of Jason Statham's earlier films. Multiverse before the MCU made it annoying; interesting plot about gaining the power of your other selves as you kill them off in different universes; and generally well acted and well filmed; good CGI for the time as well. Sometimes the floating with wires (not seen but they may as well be there) is a bit much and there are some small continuity errors between scenes, but overall, this is an enjoyable well-paced fun movie.

Dans un futur lointain, les univers parallèles existent. Yulaw, un agent de la Multiverse, le sait pour y être souvent intervenu lors de ses missions. C'est ainsi qu'il a appris que nos doubles vivants dans chacun de ces mondes sont liés entre eux par un flux, et que lorsqu'un d'eux disparaît, son énergie est redistribuée aux autres. Depuis, Yulaw ambitionne d'éliminer ses doubles pour récolter leur puissance et ainsi devenir l'être absolu. Les agents Roedecker et Funsch reçoivent alors l'ordre de neutraliser Yulaw. Gabe, lui, est un policier qui mène une vie sans histoires. Mais ça ne va pas durer : il est le dernier double, l'ultime obstacle sur la route de Yulaw. Une folle course-poursuite commence entre les quatre hommes.
