- pipanni15 février 2026A mysterious prison on an island. Creepy experiments on the inmates. Wow, sounds promising. Unfortunately it's a huge letdown. A strong cast and a convincing location, but everything else falls apart quickly. The prison is mixed gender. There's a good reason why that's never attempted in real life. There are no guards, even though some of the prisioners are big and violent. There's a single door to the outside, where a hydroplane and a boat are just waiting to get you to freedom. The drugs for the experiments are administered through a big bulky device permanently attached to the inmates lower back. If you bump the fragile thing, it will malfunction and can kill you by accident. I mean, there are so many plot holes and silly stuff going on that enjoying the movie becomes impossible.

Dans une prison dernière génération dirigée par Steve Abnesti (Chris Hemsworth), un scientifique brillant et visionnaire, des détenus volontaires espérant voir leur peine écourtée sont équipés d'un appareil qui leur injecte des doses de médicaments psychotropes. À Spiderhead, un établissement sans barreaux ni cellules, les prisonniers portent des vêtements civils et sont libres d'être ce que bon leur semble. Enfin, jusqu'à un certain point. Par moments, ils deviennent une meilleure version d'eux-mêmes. Besoin de se détendre ? Il y a un médicament pour ça. Marre de chercher leurs mots ? Pas de souci, il y a aussi ce qu'il faut. Mais quand deux sujets, Jeff (Miles Teller) et Lizzy (Jurnee Smollett), se rapprochent, le chemin de la rédemption prend un tournant inquiétant, car Steve Abnesti pousse ses expériences au-delà des limites du libre arbitre.
