- Niztradamus16 novembre 2025This movie is slow until it isn't and becomes something beyond fucked up. Imagine A Serbian Film without the explicit violence, though there is some in the movie. I'm not easily shook but towards the ending this movie gets fucked up. It's the psychological aspect that really gets to me. I can imagine someone in their early 20s not being phased by this at all. This is a movie for people 30+. Truly horrifying the longer you think about it.

- Kevin Ward1 juillet 2025Watched the American remake last night and was surprised at how much some of the exact same story beats did not work for me and it made me want to revisit this one again just to make sure I wasn’t misremembering somehow. Full-ish thoughts on that review, but I really felt like McAvoy’s version of the Patrick/Paddy character felt much too abrasive from the beginning. Fedja van Huet’s was at least gracious and cordial at the beginning of this newfound friendship to believably garner some goodwill from the unsuspecting couple.
