- ohhhboy27 novembre 2025I recently watched the 2017 film Sodom, and it confirmed something I love in movies: intense, romantic, but often short-lived connections. I felt the same way watching Weekend and A Night Like This. For me, these films are very personal. Their stories hit home and feel real, almost like things that have happened in my own life. That’s why I connect with them so strongly. Sodom, starring Jo Weil and Pip Brignall, grabs you right away. You just have to watch until the end to see what happens. I spent most of the movie with a nervous feeling in my stomach because you’re half-afraid it's going to have a sad ending. I won't give away any spoilers, but I promise it's worth watching. The acting is fantastic. When a movie depends only on two actors in one location to tell the whole story, they have to be good, and they definitely are. It’s like watching a real moment happen; you feel like you are right there with them, and you can't look away. For me, the chemistry, the quiet romance, the intense sexual tension, and the full story make this a truly great movie. It’s Relatable, Believable, and completely Watchable. Do yourself a favour and watch it. You’ll be swept up in a tender night between two great characters.
