Furieuse d'entendre son miroir magique déclarer que sa belle-fille Blanche-Neige la surpasse en beauté, la reine maléfique donne ordre à son chasseur de la tuer, à la faveur d'une cueillette de pommes dans la forêt près du château. Mais ce dernier, attendri par la bonté naturelle de la jeune princesse, la laisse s’enfuir. Guidée par les animaux de la forêt, celle-ci trouve refuge chez sept nains, qui triment dur dans une mine de diamants. Aux côtés de ceux-ci et de Jonathan, un rebelle à la tête d'une bande de voleurs fidèles au défunt roi, Blanche-Neige mène la révolte contre sa puissante belle-mère.

- Kevin Ward28 février 2026I was really never a fan of the original Snow White story. Haven’t cared for any of the various other adaptations (Mirror Mirror, Snow White and The Huntsman, etc), so this probably didn’t much of a chance with me outside of extremely low expectations. I really liked Zegler, obviously her incredible singing voice goes a long way and I actually liked the vibrant visuals in many of the scenes. But that’s about where the positives end. It continues to be a story that just doesn’t resonate with me. And oof…Gal Gadot. Pretty dreadful performance. Though, I will say, I thought she had a pretty good singing voice. These live-action remakes will undoubtedly continue to churn.

The film's forced modernization, lackluster performances, and visual missteps result in an adaptation that pales in comparison to its predecessor.
