Sex 'n' Death
Réalisé par Guy JenkinOù regarder Sex 'n' Death
- Peter Bickford24 février 2026A movie which was bracing in the 1990s when it was first aired, and now is oddly haunting. It's a shocking, stageplay-like production which celebrates debauchery and nihilism while still managing to be incredibly poignant. Top marks to the music director for its devastating use of The Pretenders for the end sequence. Sex N Death is a rather extraordinary movie which, when viewed from the perspective of 2026, reads like the suicide note of Cool Britannia. The world it lives in...and which it could have been made (let alone broadcast in over the BBC!) is well and truly gone. Which is part--but not all--ot why it hangs on like a ghost in the memory.
