It’s chaotic, it’s silly, it’s absolutely unhinged in places and that’s exactly why it works. It’s comfort‑comedy at its finest, the kind of film you watch when you want to switch off your brain and just laugh at something delightfully stupid. The cast is honestly what makes it so rewatchable. Scarlett Johansson playing the stressed, responsible one is such a fun shift for her, and she fits into the group dynamic way better than you’d expect. Jillian Bell, as always, is a comedic menace in the best possible way, her timing is so sharp it feels like she’s improvising half the movie. Ilana Glazer brings her signature chaotic energy, and it’s impossible not to love it. And then there’s Kate McKinnon’s Australian accent. As an actual Australian, I can say with full confidence that it is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard. It’s so wrong, so bizarre, and so committed that it becomes its own form of art. Every time she speaks, I lose it. The rest of the cast rounds everything out perfectly, each adding their own flavour to the madness. It’s messy, it’s ridiculous, and it’s exactly the kind of movie you can watch over and over without getting tired of it. Just pure, joyful nonsense, in the best way!
