Où regarder Red Christmas
- jackmeat4 avril 2025My quick rating - 4.5/10. This slasher flick did something very few can do. You really feel bad for the killer in this movie. They went far out of the way to make you to feel sorry for him even if he is cutting people in half with an axe. The story here is a left-for-dead unsuccessful abortion child who comes back for the loving of his mother. But when that is not what he gets, he heads down the revenge route. But being left on the hospital room floor also had some serious consequences in his development. If you watch, you will get a glimpse of this mutation. Like I said, they want you to feel bad for him and it works. But the most distracting thing about this whole movie is just how stupid every last character is. To the point it is distracting. A bad decision or two is one thing, but this movie is just out of control, tropes times a thousand. Even with this major setback, it still ends up being a passable flick to check out, Christmas horror or not.

La matriarche Diane reçoit ses enfants et leurs conjoints pour un dernier Noël dans la maison familiale avant qu’elle ne la vende. Les choses se passent bien jusqu’à ce qu’un étrange inconnu se pointe à la porte, couvert de bandages de la tête aux pieds. Son nom est Cletus et il montre à Diane une lettre avec le mot « maman » gribouillé sur l’enveloppe. Il s’avère que la dame s’est fait avorter 20 ans auparavant et que durant l’opération, la clinique a été la cible d’un attentat par un fanatique, qui s’est enfui avec le fœtus à moitié mort, l’a soigné tant bien que mal et lui a transmis ses croyances religieuses fondamentalistes ! Aujourd’hui, le fanatique est mort, mais Cletus, maintenant une brute défigurée, a retrouvé sa mère et le reste de sa famille. Joyeux Noël !
