But there is trouble between the Americans and the Mexicans and John Carrol has been sent to try and bring law and order. The Americans have become the unauthorized law and are kicking the Mexicans off their ranchos. When the Mexican leader is killed saving Carroll's life, Carroll takes over as their new leader.
