En 2045, le monde est au bord du chaos. Les êtres humains se réfugient dans l'OASIS, univers virtuel mis au point par le brillant et excentrique James Halliday. Avant de disparaître, celui-ci a décidé de léguer son immense fortune à quiconque découvrira l'œuf de Pâques numérique qu'il a pris soin de dissimuler dans l'OASIS. L'appât du gain provoque une compétition planétaire. Mais lorsqu'un jeune garçon, Wade Watts, qui n'a pourtant pas le profil d'un héros, décide de participer à la chasse au trésor, il est plongé dans un monde parallèle à la fois mystérieux et inquiétant…

    Other than the casting of their best friend who has an highly annonying voice throughout much of the movie and is played by some nobody actress that cant act, I really liked this movie.

    This is an excellent movie from the start it envelopes you into his world of being there in his world of indifference. I've watched it many times now. I can't get enough of this futuristic world of drama and intriguing under world of a futuristic world

    Probably my all time favorite movie with or without the kids. Fun, family friendly, imaginative, and action packed. Great messages of friendship and morality while realistically futuristic without even knowing it.

    Every time I watch it, I want to just restart it again. Great story, conflict and characters. Plus all of the nostalgia. Masterpiece.

    Spielberg had to make a film like this at some point. Childhood dreams and fantasies, this time in a virtual world. I think it will entertain not only twelve-year-olds and home theater owners.

    Pretty good movie if I do say so myself, loved all the characters and cameos plus how the movie managed to go so far while being a great adaptation to the book.

    I love this book. I have read this book 3 times and while I haven’t read the second book… I am looking forward to it. This movie isn’t bad, it’s kind a like Jurassic Park was: Steven Spielberg takes his own span of the movie and kind of removes parts that I think should’ve stayed in… Anyway, it’s a pretty decent film. However, if you haven’t read the book do that even if you see this… Read that book. If you’re between the ages of 40 and 65 that book is gonna just make you feel like you’re 10 years old again
