Enjoyed the film and ambiance generally speaking, but was having trouble understanding some of the connections as I watched it. It all makes sense in the end and the film is surprisingly prescient!

awesome film, only lacking slightly in the third act. the sense of dread and loneliness portrayed in this film is unmatched - great watch for when you want something unnerving and serious

The dead are starting to return to our world because modern life is spent with a foot already in the grave. We're all alone and looking for connection, but to find it is oblivion. This has aged well to an almost prescient level. Or maybe existential loneliness and isolation are so foundational to the human experience that this type of story will always resonate in that shared, empty, existence.

Starts out strong but goes off the rails halfway in. The characters also make very stupid decisions.
