Le Major Dutch Schaefer et son équipe sont envoyés dans la jungle sud-américaine avec pour mission de délivrer des alliés pris en otage par une bande de guérilleros. Mais pendant l'opération, Dutsch et ses hommes s'aperçoivent que les preneurs d'otages ont été... dépecés et suspendus à la plus haute cime des arbres. Très vite, le commando comprend qu'il a en face de lui un ennemi hors du commun. Un monstre invisible et indestructible venu d'une autre planète. Un extraterrestre rompu à toutes les formes d'attaques et qui ne poursuit qu'un seul but : la chasse à l'être humain. Schaefer et sa troupe sont pour lui du gibier de premier choix.

- Mischa17 mai 2025The 35mm version of predator is really my favorite it's all dark and grimey, and the sound is all loud... the music really pops out. The cornered edges make it even better. I have a bluray copy, and it just seems way too processed. I feel lucky to be able to watch this copy.
- Cole11 juin 2025Absolutely love how this starts as an 80s action war flick then transitions into a horrifying creature feature. The Predator is one of the all time monster designs. I especially like how we don’t see its body or face until the final act. As far as the location, the jungle is an all timer too — along with the Antarctic in The Thing and space for Alien. As an Arnold stan too, he’s just wonderfully charismatic here. Cozy film for me, a true classic in every sense of the word.

- Aaron Slade29 mars 2025Its testosterone the film lol Big macho guys showing their big muscles and even bigger cigars Until they start getting eviscerated from the camouflaged alien. Oh man, this scared the shit out of me in 1987 when I saw it at the cinema at age 10. It was so close to a horror, while still remaining an action film. Arnie was on fire in the 80s and could do no wrong. This was the same year The Running Man came out, which is just as good as this. Amazing !!!

Predator is a genius premise--and manages to execute the premise with near-perfection. The perfect amalgamation between an 80's manly-man action flick and a slasher, Predator is worth you time. The score, the dialogue, the pacing, the acting--everything is running on all cylinders. Couldn't quite give it full points because some of the special effects aged poorly.

- Otacon!24 février 2026This is the kind of movies that I love. Not for the alien/monster/splatter/action movie, but for the details the cast and the director had made. Every single character (beside crowd artists) are there for a reason and have a good personality, traits and jokes. Every one. And this is why I love this era movies. In those years story and content was all and VFX was in secondary place. Good actions sequence, good sound design, good performances of a cast that has spend years working together in others project and had little things to share off-screen and on-screen. Good one.
- Spencer MB23 octobre 2025*Watched the 4K remaster Such an awesome movie. The amount of effort that went into it's production alone should make you appreciate the film. Banger one-liners left 'n' right; thrilling action and spectacular practical effects + explosions; an intense narrative that feels natural even as things become more intense and sci-fi. Insane that my parents (especially my dad) never showed this to me when I was younger, would've changed my brain chemistry.
