Sans regrets, elle quitte son groupe et accepte un petit rôle dans une série TV, déclenchant ainsi la colère de ses fans… et plus particulièrement celle de l’un deux. Le mystérieux « traqueur » passe à l’acte en dévoilant en détail la vie de Mima sur Internet, puis en menaçant ses proches. Des incidents violents se produisent et elle réalise que son existence se confond dangereusement avec la série dans laquelle elle joue. Mima sombre dans la schizophrénie tandis que les cadavres s’accumulent autour d’elle…

- M08Y7 août 2025Perfect Blue is a remarkable story of Mima's identity struggles and her decent into madness with situations spiraling well out of her control. Throughout the film, you really can't tell what is real and what is not. It's only in the last 5 minutes that you really start to understand what really happened.... or do you? I can't help but feel that Perfect Blue was well ahead of it's time.

- cultfilmliker10 octobre 2025Watched in 4K at Warren Regal East with Moore Note: Was met by a stranger as I entered the auditorium asking, “This is Perfect Blue, right?” Yeah, I think so. “Okay, just making sure because the group of children confused me!” Couldn’t handle that, had to sit in front of them and physically restrain myself from looking back until right before the SA scene….they were gone 😅
