Où regarder One Mile: Chapter One
- macaronz14 mai 2026I recently watched One Mile Chapters 1 and 2 back-to-back. The first chapter is a decent, grounded thriller that stays relatively close to reality, making it an enjoyable one-time watch. However, Chapter 2 introduces several plot holes that are hard to ignore from an investigative perspective. It’s hard to believe that such a large-scale cult could operate without any police intervention or formal complaints being filed. While the second part tries to add new elements, it ultimately repeats the same 'rescue the daughter' formula, making the story feel repetitive and the execution much weaker than the original.
- ርልዪረ21 février 2026Ignore the delusional negative political rage bait reviewer below who has no clue what they are ranting about. One Mile is a new survival thriller that carries a definite Hills Have Eyes/Wrong Turn meets action vibe, but it still manages to carve out its own lane. Now available on PVOD, the release is unique in that it delivers two complete films at once. One Mile: Chapter One and Chapter Two which is a nice bonus for fans of the genre. Directed by Adam Davidson (known for work on Bosch, Hell on Wheels, and Deadwood), the film stars Ryan Phillippe alongside C. Thomas Howell. Phillippe plays an ex-special forces operative determined to rescue his daughter, and he handles the role with steady intensity. The dynamic between him and his daughter, Alex, feels believable and adds some grounded emotional weight to the story. What makes this thriller stand out is its approach to action. There are no rifles or guns involved in the major sequences. Instead, the film leans into bows and arrows, knives, and survival-style traps. That choice gives the action a more raw, close-quarters feel and sets it apart from typical shoot-'em-up thrillers. The story moves at a solid pace, and once things escalate, the suspense stays consistent. It's straightforward, tense, and visually well shot without overcomplicating itself. Overall, One Mile delivers an intense suspense driven experience and offers something a little different for action thriller fans.
- Amouse211 mars 2026Chapter one was nothing ground breaking, but an okay watch overall. It was a little paint by the numbers on actual story, but I am not completely faulting that rating on that alone. The antagonists were very unbelievable and weak in nature themselves. It felt like a stretch to imagine this would actually take place for the reasons the movie presents. Quite unbelievable but I will leave it with no spoilers.
- Green Gander28 février 2026Was a straight to the point action movie that I found enjoyable even though predictable. Acting was good and action was fun but not much you wouldn’t have seen before. In saying that kept my attention for the entire movie ( which felt super fast ) and I will watch the follow up. Must be hard to be in a cult these days trying to find available women that you have to resort to kidnapping to continue on the family legacy 😜
