    I was tempted to watch this film before, but I never got around to it until a close friend mentioned it reminded him of me. I like that it never judges you and simply presents a situation, leaving you free to interpret it however you want. Personally, I relate to the protagonist in the way he pursues his goals and how isolated he feels in society based on his interests. Magnanimous.

    Gyllenhaal's performance of a sociopath is bone chilling. Filled with cringes, jaw drops and insensitivity. A modern thriller masterpiece.

    Jake Gyllenhall delivers an excelent performance but the story didn't catch me. A sociopath founds a company delivering news footage to a network station and doesn't care at all how many people have to die for his sucess. It's fine but a bit boring at times.

    This movie relies to a large degree on the performance of Jake Gyllenhaal. and what a performance it is! his co-stars deliver the goods also, rene russo being chief amongst them. i would have pereferred a more definitive ending but that is a subjective and minor complaint. Excellent movie and well worth your time!
