Metropolis
Où regarder Metropolis
- marcobag7 septembre 2026There's a reason this movie is considered a masterpiece. The screenplay is effective, the story compelling as it touches themes that are always current, it entertains and makes you think at the same time. Recommended watch
- PeterParker8083 juin 2026A must watch classic.
- Baker. H Iyer10 mars 2026Have some patience to watch this movie. But it's worth it, in the next 2 yrs, this movie would be 100yrs old. Take the time and watch the magnifence.
- theLillyPad17 février 2025Truly one of the greatest movies of this era, Metropolis is a window into the anxieties of the times it was made, but its message has something to say to us all these years later. The music, the special effects, the writing, the acting--all are masterful. I wouldn't recommend this as a first foray for anyone looking to get into silent films, but anyone who has a couple Chaplins or Keatons under his belt ought to give it a go.
- George Bananza20 octobre 2025She’s a model and she’s looking good.
- youdetoilet8 décembre 2025I love that Freder immediately assumed he was the prophesied Mediator without any doubt, which is so unlike the usual trope for characters like him. The message of this movie still rings true today because everything is essentially the same, only the setting has changed.
- collette whitney15 avril 2025This flim is a masterpiece.
- Rowan Krzysiak13 février 2025I grew up aware that this was one of the greatest films of all time and even with that lofty bar it didn't disappoint. Each scene is crammed with artistic and technical genius. In any other film the themes could become trite but here they are confident, explicit and literal while still putting plenty aside for the viewer to do. It really is very, very good and it's almost 100 years old! Recommended.
