Martyrs

Son corps maltraité ne porte aucune trace d'agression sexuelle. Les raisons de son enlèvement restent mystérieuses. Traumatisée, mutique, elle est placée dans un hôpital où elle se lie d'amitié avec Anna, une fille de son âge. 15 ans plus tard, on sonne à la porte d'une famille ordinaire. Le père ouvre et se retrouve face à Lucie, armée d'un fusil de chasse. Persuadée d'avoir retrouvé ses bourreaux, elle tire.

- Niztradamus-6 jAmazing, great, I love this movie. The acting, the violence, the payoff, the massive sound design... I haven't seen the movie since 2012 and it's so much better than I remembered. It's very violent but if you can stomach it, watch it. I didn't remember how messed up it was, especially after the Epstein files have been partially released.

Half psychological, half philosophical/cult horror, the movie falls apart due to lack of actual substance. The final twist ends up resulting between brilliant and comical due to his lack of real pathos.
