The movie doesn’t waste time, it’s short, punchy and packed with shootouts, explosions, and steampunk contraptions. Sure, the story feels stitched together like a Frankenstein monster. It’s like a pulp comic brought to life with a whiskey-soaked grin. Would I call it a masterpiece? No. But would I watch a sequel if they leaned harder into the supernatural and gave Hex more room to breathe? Absolutely. There’s potential here, and I’d love to see it unleashed with a bit more finesse. Jonah Hex is messy, moody, and mad, but if you’re in the mood for a stylized western with a supernatural twist, it’s worth a shot. Just saddle up with low expectations and enjoy the ride.
