- cultfilmliker23 janvier 2026Not me slack-jawed at the end of a Gaspar Noé film….yet again Never thought I’d hear this word in any other context than this sketch. I wonder if DerrickComedy had seen this lol TW for racism / homophobia ALSO: Extreme domestic violence warning for this film oof It’s got all the trademarks of Noé: philosophical ambiguity, intertitles about love and death, two guys casually swapping stories about graphic sex acts, violent homophobia, a pregnant woman being assaulted in her stomach, incest, full penetration…you know, the usual stuff! The minute plus of anal was unexpected, though knowing the director I guess it shouldn’t have been! Just gonna assume “she’s suffocating” was a mistranslation bc lol @ solving it with an injection and some medically necessary hand-holding I love how dingy everything looks! Watching it late at night, I can smell the cigarettes and motel room odors through the TV. Makes me wanna curl up to some Johnny Bravo and go to sleep…but then a gunshot edit happens and I’m back awake
