In one of the stores, Bobby is scared with a toy gun and flees, pursued by his father. Hidden in Manuel's establishment, under the counter, he listens to the conversation that Manuel has with Pete about a kidnapping and murder they committed. Bobby runs off, but Manuel and Pete notice him.
