Pegg's straight-laced seriousness and Frost's wholehearted enthusiasm play off each other beautifully, giving the comedy both heart and bite. The supporting cast adds equally memorable moments, rounding out a group that feels perfectly in sync with the film's tone. The screenplay is sharp, packed with clever callbacks and lines that land again and again. The humor ranges from dry and understated to outrageously over-the-top, but it's always well calibrated, never lazy, never forced. - Jakeys26 décembre 2025One of the best, certainly one of the tightest comedies ever. Pure precision in every joke, foreshadowing and callback. I think I prefer Shaun of the Dead, but I cannot fault this movie and I think it's technically better. Shout out to Timothy Dalton too, amazing performance. He understood what the role needed and delivered on it with perfection.
