For the sake of her parents she wants to make the best of both worlds work, but when she discovers an opportunity to make her own dream a reality, she must choose. Hope is a ballet dancer, as well as a talented softball player. Her dream is to star as Clara in the Nutcracker, and her passion is her family. At first balancing softball and ballet seems to be something that is possible. As time progresses, the stress of managing time for the two talents becomes too stressful and begins to impact her dreams. There is a ballet duet competition coming up, and winning the duet provides an opportunity to join a top dance academy, which would lead to her dream role, Clara in the Nutcracker. Through many trials and lessons, Hope had hope and continues to persevere towards her dream. This was an inspiring film, and one for the whole family to enjoy. When I watched it, I watched with my fiancé and my children (son and daughters). At first the boys weren’t too sure about it because it was ballet, but when they gave it a chance, my son said he would at least give it a half star.
