- Christy12 octobre 2026Not having the best of days - old ghosts creeping in. I decided to watch this for 300th time because of its deep, powerful message. I mean, how can you not be moved or touched by this? I love it. It's one of my "go-to" films whenever I'm searching. I remember the first time I watched this. I cried and cried.....and I've cried every single time since then too. I think everyone could benefit from this movie. Do much wisdom "never leave your partner - especially in a 'fire,'" or one of my favorites "being a Christian doesn't mean that a fire will never come, but when it does, you'll be able to withstand it," and that is so true. I don't know how many fires in my life God has put out a d walked with me through. I highly recommend this movie. I have even read "The Love Dare," a stand alone and "Fireproof" the novelization
- 12 octobre 2026Calab and Catherine are a young married couple whose marriage isn't on the best of terms; in fact, they are headed for a nasty divorce. If you've watched the movie, you know they are drifting apart. Instead of blaming one character, I blame Calab and Catherine equally for the issues their marriage. Thank God Caleb's dad gave him a copy of the "Love Dare." I can't put into words how moving this is for me.. I would love to share a piece of trivia that's at the end of the movie, but I think I'll let you look that up. Remember: "but God shows His love for using that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Roman 5:8 Jesus didn't die just for me, not my neighbors next door, or the stranger I speak to on the street. He died for each of us and that means YOU too.

Au travail, le capitaine Caleb Holt (Kirk Cameron), vit par l'adage du vieux pompier : « Ne laissez jamais votre partenaire en arrière. ».
