- Edgardo Lopez27 décembre 2025I heard this was a surprisingly accurate depiction of Naval practices and jargon, and though I didn't really follow, I was surprisingly entertained. It was a pretty good comedy.

- Richard9 novembre 2025Saw this one back in the 90's drawn in by the cast, stayed for the diesel fueled absurdity. Kelsey Grammer plays Lt. Cmdr. Tom Dodge, a laid back submarine captain assigned to the USS Stingray, a rust bucket with a crew that looks like they were drafted from a bar fight. The mission? Outsmart a nuclear sub in a war game scenario. The tools? A tattooed sonar guy, a cook with attitude and a crew that makes Police Academy look like Navy SEALs. Lauren Holly adds charm as Lt. Emily Lake and Rob Schneider does his usual twitchy thing. The comedy is broad, the tone proudly silly and the submarine action is more about pratfalls than precision. I liked the cast chemistry, the irreverence and the way it made feel goofy, nautical and slightly nostalgic, with diesel engines, torpedo gags and a plot that salutes chaos over realism.
