When the ancient privileges of Chodové were threatened, he defended their rights. This culminated in disagreement with the local magnate Wolf Maximilian Laminger von Albenreuth, "Lomikar". Kozina was judged responsible for the peasant rebellion, arrested and executed in Pilsen on the 28th November 1695.
