Seul chez lui, maître de son temps, ses journées se passent à surfer sur le web, à regarder la télé, à jouer sur sa console, à se gaver de pizzas, à reluquer en douce la fille canon qui vient d'emménager dans la maison voisine. Car Kale n'a pas le droit de sortir de chez lui. Placé sous contrôle judiciaire à la suite d'une algarade, il doit purger sa peine à domicile, et trouve chaque jour plus étouffante cette contrainte. Son seul exutoire : épier ses voisins à la jumelle, observer leurs habitudes, leurs déplacements, leurs incongruités, tenter d'en déduire leurs petits et leurs grands secrets. Et Kale, jamais à court d'imagination, prend à ce petit jeu un plaisir considérable. Mais le jeu prend soudain une tournure inquiétante, lorsque Kale et sa nouvelle copine découvrent qu'un de leurs voisins, l'énigmatique M. Turner, pourrait bien être... un tueur en série...

You can really feel the Rear Window influence all over it, just with a more modern, teen-focused vibe. It’s not super polished and some parts feel a bit dated, but the mix of suspense and humor keeps it engaging. It knows what it is and doesn’t overcomplicate things. Not perfect, but easy to get into and pretty fun for what it is.

- Julie Jones12 janvier 2026The plot of the movie is okay enough, nothing special happening, typical teenager thinks his neighbor is a killer and then proceeds to play detective and see if it is true type of story. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and will make you ask questions over and over again, those are always the thrillers that are worth seeing.

After I was done watching i just forgot about this movie and did not want to discuss with my friends. Later, observing Viola Davis's filmography I remembered that she was in it as detective. I love this actress and see her starting in such movies is funny.
