- Gastyon21 octobre 2025If you grew up with Digimon, watch it. 10/10 would cry again. Edit: I realized I didn’t add enough details. The animation is very well done, the music is excellent (watched it in Japanese), the story is relatable, and every favorite character comes back in some way. This is a love letter to the kids who grew up with Digimon Adventure 1 (and 2 somewhat), and the challenges the chosen children face in the movie hit really close to home to the stage of life most of us found ourselves in almost 10 years ago when the movie released. It’s not a perfect movie, and Digimon was never a perfect series, but if you are a fan, there’s no reason you should not spend an hour and a half seeing how the story plays out.

Plusieurs incidents inexplicables se produisent un peu partout et des enfants élus du monde entier perdent connaissance. Menoa et son assistant Imura - deux universitaires dont le domaine de recherche sont les Digimon – sollicitent Taichi et ses amis pour tenter d’élucider ces mystérieux phénomènes. Ils leur expliquent qu’Eosmon, un Digimon inconnu, serait à l’origine de tous ces incidents. Ensemble, ils décident d’unir leur force pour l’affronter dans une terrible bataille. Mais l’issue du combat révèle une vérité bien difficile à admettre : lorsqu’un enfant élu devient adulte, son partenaire Digimon disparaît… La menace continue de se propager et touche bientôt les amis proches de Taichi. Ce dernier va alors se retrouver confronté au pire des dilemmes : choisir entre ses amis et son Digimon. Doit-il sauver ses amis, au risque de perdre son partenaire Digimon, son compagnon le plus cher ?
