In the 1970s the Australian government bought two Guarneri cellos for use by the countries leading young players. Nathan Waks received one and shows it to Harry Vatiliotis the best cello maker in the country. The Rolls Royce of cellos is put through it's paces. Harry discusses the art and craft of instrument making as we see him make a cello from scratch. Nathan rehearses and then performs with the Sydney String Quartet at the Sydney Opera House
