- Dave2 mai 2025I dont think this is some powerful masterpiece of film but can recognize it is a solid and well written movie. I enjoyed it a lot more than I remember from its first watch. Not something to lean into yearly but I can see myself giving it another go in 2 to 3 years. Tom as always brings it home and our guy Barkhad does a great job as his opposition.
- Mister Arn14 mai 2025Thought the was movie was going to be a black and while hero's tale, it was not. The director did a great job of presenting a movie with lots of gray areas. The pirates were human, not mindless monsters looking for a payday. Tom Hanks displayed his acting skills playing Captain Phillips. Didn't think I would enjoy this movie based on the subject mater. It proved me wrong!
