Réalisé par Lilly Wachowski, Lana WachowskiViolet, maîtresse d'un truand spécialisé dans le blanchiment d'argent pour la mafia, se prend d'une passion violente pour Corky, voleuse, en liberté provisoire après cinq ans de prison et qui repeint l'appartement de ses voisins. Violet décide de séduire Corky. Elle ne manque pas d'arguments car son compagnon cache dans leur appartement deux millions de dollars.

- Stairwaytothestars24 août 2025Fantastic erotic thriller, and I wish they made more movies like this because this is how you do it right! Gina Gershon is oozing with sex appeal and she gives a great performance, along with Jennifer Tilly, who is such a character. Then, to top it all off, you get a classic Tom Jones song called She's a Lady! What more can a girl ask for? I shall never forget Corky and Violet! Brava for it's two directors, Lily and Lana Wachowski, who also wrote and co-directed the first three Matrix movies, that alone is impressive! Women are doing it for themselves, and I love it!

Busting is damn near impossible these days - not for these girls tho! Such a strange crew to make this fully-sapphic unique crime film! Christopher Meloni as a baddy was a delight! Pretty bad ass and fun second half!! The sexiness is impressive!!

- Desmond Dale24 janvier 2025Bound by the same sort of fatalistic obsessive magnetism as the leads in film noir, the movie sets its sexy, dangerous tone right from the beginning. And very much like a bdsm, sadomasochistic love affair the film stretches the stakes and the tension sustains a climax that's not only deep but long and multi-tiered. There's a boldness to the film's symbolism that's exciting and fresh, from the slow methodical unscrewing of a gushing pipe to a horny glance between to the two lovers as they're roped and bound. And ultimately I enjoyed how the film toys with the dark foreshadowing of old film noir but strives for an ending that would have been quite controversial in the era when film noir reigned supreme.
