Où regarder Boss Level
- Patrick Wai-3 jThink of Boss Level less as a sci-fi movie and more as a live-action video game. It's built around dying, respawning, learning the level, and trying again until you finally beat the boss. The premise is undeniably fun, but the movie never quite reaches its full potential. It feels like it keeps flirting with greatness without ever committing to it. The script needed to be sharper, the pacing more consistent, and the humor bolder. It already has flashes of dry, self-aware comedy, but had it leaned further in the direction of Deadpool, it could have become something genuinely memorable. Frank Grillo makes for a likable action lead. He actually reminds me of a "lite" Bradley Cooper. With stronger material and a little more range, I could easily see him carrying bigger franchise films. The chemistry between the cast is solid, but Michelle Yeoh and Mel Gibson are criminally underused, and I would've happily taken a lot more Ken Jeong. The scene involving the teeth was probably the funniest moment in the entire film. Visually, the movie looks expensive, yet somehow has the feel of one of those lavishly financed productions where all the money made it onto the screen but not quite onto the page. The story itself is straightforward and familiar. I've seen variations of this premise before, and this one never finds the extra twist that would make it truly stand apart. What disappoints me most is how much unrealized potential there is here. With a stronger script, this could have been the origin story of an entirely new action hero, someone like "Osiris," a character whose superpower is mastering time itself through endless repetition. Instead, we get a perfectly enjoyable, occasionally clever, big-budget B-movie that constantly hints at being something much greater. It's still a fun ride. I just couldn't shake the feeling that I was watching the rough draft of what could have been an outstanding action franchise.
- JoshuaW29 mars 2026I felt like this was a 4✨ movie. Just my opinion. Sure in hell wasn’t a 2. Umm… ending could have had a little more closure. I think it said enough though. ✋🏼🤚🏼👍🏼✨✨✨✨! Damn good action movie, with some soft senes. Superb acting! A man’s movie. Especially hits home with the family love a man holds dear.

- Rob Logan | The Geek Generation6 avril 2026I'm a sucker for a time loop movie, and while Boss Level is far from perfect, it's pretty fun. Dropping us right in was a great way to start, but the film drags a bit for a portion before getting back on track for a mostly satisfying third act. It's also nice to see Frank Grillo getting a much-deserved lead role.
- Stian Andreassen30 mars 2026Another spin on Groundhog Day – the OG timeloop movie, as far as I’m concerned – and quite a good one, both derivative and original at the same time. Tightrope walking from funny, to sad, to sentimental, and back again, with a current of Philip K. Dick vibes running between the lines. Heavy on the CGI, of course, but it is actually grounded in the plot and not gratuitous.
