- CravanThePugilist9 février 202620 years later, still one of the funniest movies of all time imo. Sacha is an absolute legend for pulling this off.

- TV watcher18 janvier 2026Amazing movie! I love the Borat movies, very funny
- Jakeys30 décembre 2025On the one hand, it's an incredibly crude comedy. On the other hand, it satirises and exposes the darker side of America and to a lesser extent society in general, while still taking some time to show the lighter side of people too. Plus, it's just very funny and certainly Sacha's best work. Great success.

- mickerdoo4 juillet 2025This movie came out when I was in high school. I joked around in a Borat voice for a whole year. Crude and unique style.
- Manuel Frangis21 mars 2025I just watched Borat again and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This movie is absolutely insane in the best way. It is one of the boldest comedies ever made and it still hits just as hard today. Sacha Baron Cohen goes all in from start to finish and what he pulls off is nothing short of genius. The story follows Borat a journalist from Kazakhstan who travels to America to learn about the culture and report his findings back home. What sounds like a simple setup quickly becomes one of the wildest and most uncomfortable comedy journeys you will ever see. The entire movie is filled with awkward encounters outrageous behavior and moments that make you laugh and cringe at the same time. Sacha Baron Cohen is on another level in this role. He becomes Borat completely with the accent the body language the expressions everything. What makes it so brilliant is how committed he is. No matter how wild or uncomfortable the situation gets he never breaks character and that is what makes every scene work. The comedy is raw fearless and totally unfiltered. Borat says and does things that most people would never even think of doing in public let alone on camera. The way the movie blends scripted moments with real reactions from unsuspecting people adds to the chaos and makes it even funnier. You are constantly wondering what is real and what is staged and that unpredictability keeps the energy high. One of the best parts of Borat is how it uses humor to shine a light on real issues. Under all the ridiculous jokes and insane scenes there is a smart layer of social commentary. It exposes ignorance prejudice and hypocrisy in a way that is funny but also kind of eye opening. That balance between shock humor and sharp satire is what makes it stand out from other comedies. The pacing is perfect. The movie never slows down or gives you a chance to catch your breath. Every scene brings a new wild situation and just when you think it cannot get any crazier it does. It is nonstop chaos and it works so well because of how unpredictable and fearless it is. The way Borat interacts with real people makes the movie feel different from any traditional comedy. You are not just watching a character act ridiculous in a made up world you are seeing real reactions and that makes it so much funnier and more uncomfortable. The reactions people give to Borat’s behavior are just as funny as the things he says. The reason this movie works so well is because of how far it is willing to go. It pushes boundaries but not just to be offensive. Everything serves a purpose and builds the character of Borat in a way that feels oddly genuine even though it is completely absurd. Overall Borat is one of the funniest and most original comedies ever made. It is wild uncomfortable fearless and somehow still smart underneath all the chaos. Sacha Baron Cohen completely disappears into the character and creates something that will never be repeated. I laughed the whole way through and I could not believe how far it went. This is easily a 5 out of 5 stars movie for me and one that I will definitely watch again anytime I need a comedy that just does not care about playing it safe.
