- Kevin Ward28 février 2026This was alright, but there were long stretches (like almost the entirety of the last 30 minutes) that were just music montage. No anecdotes or information. So those sections felt kind of superfluous. I’ve heard this looked great in IMAX though, so maybe I just missed see this in the manner that was intended.
- jkat253 août 2025As a fan it was nice to see the beginnings and evolution in their own words, but it was slow and repetitive in the last 40 minutes. They didn't cover all their albums, why they broke up, the interna conflicts, etc. Lots of nice early show content and some high level makings of hit songs but overall not what I expected. Also...no stairway to heaven? Come on!
- RipLinesMan8 avril 2025Becoming Led Zeppelin isn’t Event Horizon (1997), but it taps into the same cosmic abyss—only instead of blood and fire, it’s riffs and myth, echoing through time like a spell half-remembered. Watching it feels less like a documentary and more like staring into the amp stack of the universe and hearing it whisper back.
- martino98025 avril 2025Genius. All of them. Great documentary.
- roperm1 août 2025One of the best music documentaries I have seen but I do absolutely adore Led Zep.
- Michael Surber10 juin 2025Utterly fantastic. Incredible footage, especially the early live performances. Jimmy Page is revealed to be the guitar god he has always been proclaimed to be. If you are even remotely a fan, do not miss this epic film.
- bcyber29 mai 2025Better appreciate their work after watching this! Amazing 👏
- craigg7521 avril 2025Very enjoyable if you are a Led Zeppelin fan. It delves into how these guys got together and the immense amount of music knowledge they had coming out of the gate. Very interesting how they created the first two albums and each of the songs. If you are a fan of LZ, you won't be disappointed.
- capitolfi8 avril 2025Depending on the day, my favorite rock band could either be the Stones, Alice in Chains, or Led Zeppelin. Most days, it's Zeppelin. And most of what they did all happened before I was born... They're also each more musician than rock star, so having this produced with their cooperation is pretty damn cool. It doesn't contain anything all that revelatory and sticks to the music pretty much entirely, but that isn't a bad thing. The music speaks for itself. So, as a glimpse at their rise to fame, it's good. Do I wish there was more to it? Absolutely. Matter of fact, when the credits started rolling I was like "that's it"...having no idea it had already been 2 hours. For that reason, I can't fault it for what it isn't.
- Alan Rycroft21 avril 2025Best band documentary I've ever seen. Superb
- Wordnwot19 avril 2025Eats 2 hours in a blink of an eye. I just loved JP 's facial expression when describing the band's first time they played Filmore west in California!
- Richard17 avril 2025Robert Plant thinks he’s as important as the moon landings.. and I guess ‘becoming’ Led Zeppelin is key.. nothing after 1970
- Stanfigl16 avril 2025This was absolutely fantastic, never be another.
- glbski7 avril 2025Some interesting background and footage, but not nearly as good as other band documentaries
